Dr. Xiaofei He is currently a full professor in the College of Computer Science at Zhejiang University, China. He received the BS degree from Zhejiang University, China, in 2000 and the PhD degree from The University of Chicago in 2005, both in computer science. After his PhD, he worked as a research scientist at Yahoo! Research Labs, and then joined Zhejiang University in 2007. His research interests are machine learning, pattern recognition, and computer vision.

Prof Xiaofei He organized the special issue on Manifold Learning for IJSI (Vol.7, No.3) in 2013.
